Niche Down
You have probably heard of the term ‘niche’.
Do you know what it is and why you need to use it?
It’s got everything to do with marketing and what you have to say to your audience who is waiting with baited breath for the next nuggets of wisdom from you.
If you choose a niche instead of talking to a much broader audience you speak directly to your audience instead of to the whole world.
Another reason to niche down is so that you can specialise in one small market that helps you become the expert faster and stay that way.
A small market doesn’t mean you won’t have many customers. A niche is sometimes described as an inch wide but a mile deep. It’s a small segment of the market with many potential customers who are more than willing to pay more money to an expert in their field.
So I hope I’ve given you plenty to think about. If you’d like to take action on implementing this in your business, follow these steps.
Smart Actions:
1) Have a think about which field in your area of expertise you enjoy working with
2) Does that field have money to spend
3) Look at changing up your marketing, website and more to reflect the niche you have chosen
4) Adjust your pricing to reflect the expertise you are moving into
Want to talk about your niche, or maybe how you can get to more of your niche?
