Is Your Website Secure?
There’s a ‘thing’ called an SSL, which is a security certificate on your website, which make people feel safer when they’re visiting your website, and Google love it, so it helps you be Google friendly.
Without going techy at all, here’s how you can check whether your website has one, it’s important > https://www.whynopadlock.com/
If your website is brand new in the last 2 years, it probably has an SSL. Any older than that it may not have one, and it’s really important it does.
Smart Actions:
1) Copy and paste your web address into the – ‘Secure Address’ section
– Why copy/paste and not type? No typos that way
2) Check – I’m not a robot
3) – Test Page
And the result? Did you get all ‘green ticks’?
If not, contact your webbie, or us on 08 9439 2820
Or request a FULL website audit
