Decide Which Social Media Platforms to Setup
There are so many different social media platforms to choose from. It can be a little overwhelming. You may not have time to focus on every different platform there is.
Even though it may be better for your business to be all over every platform, not doing it well might not be the best look for your business.
We recommend considering setting up ALL the platforms that suit your business, then focus on those that are BEST suit your business.
Only you can decide what that balance is for your business and what you can fit into your schedule.
Here’s some information about the major platforms to help you decide which to choose for your situation.
Facebook – This is the biggest platform and just about everybody’s potential clients are on this platform.
LinkedIn – This is a business and professional community platform. At a minimum, we recommend an optimised personal profile AND a company page.
Instagram – This is a more visual platform and is used by a younger target audience.
YouTube – Video platform and underutilised by many businesses.
Twitter – This is a platform to send short tweets. Some businesses use it as a customer service tool and for networking.
Pinterest – A social network that allows users to visually share, and discover new interests by posting (known as ‘pinning’ on Pinterest) images or videos to their own or others’ boards.
Google My Business – Play the game with Google, and Google will play the game with you.
Podcasts – An on-demand audio content facility – you can listen to educational or entertainment audio content when you want, where you want, and how you want.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure you do it well and do it consistently.
