How Many Social Platforms Should You ‘Drive’

Personally I recommend ‘driving’ 2 to 4 main social platforms.

We still recommend setting up all the platforms that suit your business or industry but focus on leveraging your branding awareness and prospect and client engagement using 2 main platforms.

There’s probably 3 or 4 you can use but likely 2 more frequently.

There are only so many hours in a day, and we have to do our actual ‘job’ right.

We have 8 platforms setup, and optimised, including Facebook Business Page, Google My Business, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and a Podcast Channel.

Doesn’t mean to say we actively ‘drive’ them all.

For my business we get the best leverage from LinkedIn, Facebook Business followed by Google My Business and YouTube. so 3 main platforms, and 1 less frequent.

I mainly publish to LinkedIn, Facebook Business and Google My Business.

Smart Actions:

1) Make sure you set up and optimise the social platforms that suit your business.

2) Based on where your clients hang out, make sure you learn how to drive them and engage and connect away.

3) Be patient…

– if this is all new you’ll get better at it, and one day you’ll wonder what the fuss was about

– if you’re an old hand you’ll move it up a notch
