Make sure you do connect on LinkedIn.
I know we’ve said it once in the ‘Networking – Digital Connections’ but so many people miss it.
You requesting to ‘connect’ on LinkedIn is another opportunity of reminding them of you, without being pushy.
With this as another ‘touchpoint’, the LinkedIn connection request, you’ve now set the stage for them seeing your LinkedIn posts and updates, and again better positioning.
The thing is, people will only do business with people they know, like or trust.
That is because of relationship, and this strategy is a solid proven method to strengthen that and grow your circle of influence.
This is the single most effective way to build your quality database.
1) Do NOT file away business cards until you’ve been to LinkedIn and connected
2) Connect on LinkedIn within days after meeting within people
